Carolyn Rogers, a senior regulator in British Columbia’s public service, has been appointed assistant superintendent of the regulation sector at Canada’s top banking supervisor, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions.

Rogers doesn’t take the job officially until Aug. 15, according to a statement issued Thursday by OSFI Superintendent Jeremy Rudin. As reported earlier by the Financial Post, OSFI’s deputy superintendent of the regulation sector, Mark Zelmer, is stepping down this summer.
